Isle of Wight

It's hard to believe this special place of rolling green countryside and white chalky coastland is only half an hour away from the English mainland; time spent here feels nothing like the frantic pace of daily life. And thanks to low light pollution, it's one of the best spots in the South to see the stars flash across the dark sky at night – so remember to pack a flask!

    Comfortable cottage/beautiful location

Very comfortable cottage in a beautiful location. Loved seeing the red squirrels, and watching the sheep in the next field. The bluebells and primroses around the cottage made, even a short walk, very enjoyable. Good supply of logs, just a shame it wasn't cold enough to light a fire!

    Very clean property

Very clean property - all the little bits thought of I.e. washing up liquid, cleaning products, hand soap dispensers , plenty of loo paper, dog towel treats and pooh bags and of course milk in the fridge when we arrived and many other things including plenty of hangers in wardrobes!!

    Immaculate cottage

This was the first time staying in a NT property and won't be the last. The cottage was immaculately clean, the welcome tea tray and pint of milk in the fridge was a great sight to greet us we first arrived after our long journey. The grounds were spectacularly beautiful and I just loved everything about the cottage that was ours for a short time. If I have the choice, from now on I would always choose a NT property to stay in vs. a hotel. Thank you NT for making these wonderful places available for the public to experience!
