    Made special by being:

In a National Trust stately home - being able to wander the gardens after the public had left Charlcote office and general staff very efficient, very pleasant and friendly - thank you!

    Exceeded expectations!

Our stay was first class as this was for a special holiday it exceeded all our expectations and was a wonderful holiday. The location was wonderful, the deer park was beautiful and we had a wonderful week to just chill. Although we had listed other places to visit we just loved to stay in the Turret and soak in the atmosphere. A thoroughly recommended break.

    Just what we needed!

The level of comfort and the facilities provided were just what we needed. The accommodation, as the name suggests, is accessed by a turret and covers the top floor of the north west wing of Charlecote Park Manor. The 4 year old in our party was convinced that she was staying in a real Princess's tower - especially when she was told that Queen Elizabeth I had stayed at the House many years ago! All in all this is was ideal accommodation and proved to be an excellent choice for a busy but also relaxing break. Access to the grounds out of hours was a wonderful opportunity to explore without the crowds. All the members of staff / volunteers? we had contact with were friendly and appeared to thoroughly enjoy their jobs and responsibilities attached to helping to run and maintain this wonderful site. Our party covered 3 generations from 4 years old to 58 years young and The Turret proved to be the perfect accommodation and location for us all. The information provided on the property pre and post booking was accurate and whilst we were looking forward to out stay, on arrival we felt it exceeded what we were expecting. Everything about this wonderful place was more than satisfactory and we would love to stay here again when visiting this part of the country in the future. We will also give serious consideration to other NT properties when looking for self catering accommodation in other regions.

    Made special by:

THE STAFF - THE LOCATION - THE QUALITY OF THIS PROPERY. THE CLEANLINESS OF IT. I HAVE BOOKED THE PROPERTU AGAIN FOR NEXT YEAR AND PLAN TO KEEP DOING SO FOR THE YEARS TO COME ON OUR ANNUAL BIRMINGHAM NEC SHOW IN FEBRUARY ALL THE STAFF WE MET WERE FANTASTIC. WE HAD BOOKED AN EXTRA NIGHT SO THAT WE COULD VISIT THE HOUSE THE NEXT MORNING NOT KNOWING THAT IT WAS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC THAT DAY. CONSEQUENTLY THE STAFF ARRANGED FOR US TO ATTEND "THE AWAKENING" EVENT IN THE MAIN HOUSE WHICH WAS AN AMAZING AND INFORMATIVE EXPERIENCE.I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO EXTEND MY THANKS TO CAROL AT THE PROPERTY WHO WENT BEYOND DUTY TO ARRANGE POSTING ME BACK SOME CLOTHES I HAD LEFT.

    Beautiful apartment

Beautiful apartment -- large and well-equipped; comfortable beds; new bathroom (the power shower is great!). The welcome tray of tea/coffee with milk in the fridge was wonderful. Gorgeous views overlooking the deer park and croquet lawn. Our whole visit was utterly magic, and I'd happily stay again. A word of advice to anyone staying here - pack your things in several small bags rather than try to haul large suitcases up and down those spiral stairs.
