    Beautiful cottage

I'm a huge Christie fan, and am studying her work so was lovely to see the location that some of her books are set. Beautiful cottage and wonderful to have unlimited access to the gardens, particularly as/when no-one else was there - felt very special!

    Made special:

Being able to wander around the garden with no other visitors present. The peace and quiet. The very comfortably furnished rooms. Thank you for the delightful basket of preserves which was presumably left as an 'extra' for Christmas (not sure about this as there was no Christmas card).

It was a atmospheric, wintery retreat, massive Agatha Christie fan so I was very excited to be there - house done up for Christmas made it even better. Staff on site went out of their way to chat and help . Beautiful grounds and countryside !
