    Made special:

Being able to access the garden in the evening. Being away from streetlights and urban noise. Beautiful refurbishment especially the curtains and cushions and some lovely features (the flagstone kitchen floor and the log burner in the sitting room) accompanied by 21st century comforts (dishwasher, freeview TV) and personal touches like the Agatha Christie novels and board games. Beautiful cottage and location. Even more impressive in the flesh than online and recently refurbished.

    Made special:

Agatha Christie. All NT staff both at the entrance to Greenway, and in the shop/house were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

    Beautiful cottage

I'm a huge Christie fan, and am studying her work so was lovely to see the location that some of her books are set. Beautiful cottage and wonderful to have unlimited access to the gardens, particularly as/when no-one else was there - felt very special!

    Made special:

Being able to wander around the garden with no other visitors present. The peace and quiet. The very comfortably furnished rooms. Thank you for the delightful basket of preserves which was presumably left as an 'extra' for Christmas (not sure about this as there was no Christmas card).
