Hidden amongst the trees, away from the main house, The Apple Store started life as the potting shed-cum-mess room for Bosloe's gardeners. Today it is a beautifully situated, romantic little hideaway with a view down through a grassy glade to the Helford River beyond. Built in about 1890 of local stone and slate, by the same architect who designed the main house, it is a fine example of how even the humblest of estate buildings could embellish their surroundings.

The main house offers larger holiday accommodation in Chatham, Court and Bosveal

    Basic but practical

The price was excellent and it was very convenient to get to. The bothy was outfitted in a very practical and user-friendly way, even though it was basic.
