If you are looking for a holiday cottage with breathtaking views towards the Atlantic Ocean then this could be the one for you. Stable Cottage is a characterful property which offers the opportunity to gaze out over Port Quin Bay either from inside the cottage or from the patio.

Close by is the Cornwall coastal path which offers walks in both directions. We recommend the walk following the rugged coast along to Port Isaac where you are sure to find somewhere for a well earned rest and some refreshment.

For those of you that are keen to get out on the water there are plenty of kayaking opportunities locally to explore the hidden coves and enjoy the wildlife and natural beauty of the Cornish coast. Stable Cottage offers storage for kayaks and/or bicycles in the adjacent tack room. We also have a collection of holiday apartments in Doyden House.

    Stunning location

The property was exactly as described on the website and the location was stunning. It was immaculately presented inside, and the extras provided were greatly appreciated i.e. rucksack, binoculars, maps and information on local area. Lovely welcome tray and a beautiful vase of fresh flowers.....all went to make a enjoyable and comfortable holiday.

    High standard furnishings

The location was amazing, even better than it appeared in the photos and the cottage was newly furnished to a high standard. All just wonderful.

    Fitted our criteria perfectly

The holidays we choose are specific as we have dogs so we like places quite, peaceful with lots of walking, but also not to far from towns so we can walk and explore places of interest and have something to eat. Stable cottage fits that criteria perfectly.

    Made enjoyable...

Stable Cottage is in the most spectacular imaginable spot. The view is incredible. There are so few buildings in this part of Cornwall as close to the cliffs as Stable Cottage that it would be a privilege to stay in any building at this location, but Stable Cottage itself is beautiful. When you open the door you find that the interior is just as perfect as the surroundings. The cottage has top quality architecture and décor, high-end kitchen equipment, a fabulous bathroom and comfortable beds with crisp linens. Both charming and elegant, Stable Cottage is the nicest place I have ever stayed. Suggestion - The wifi was very slow and could use an upgrade.
