Situated above the former stable block, which is now a restaurant at the side of Felbrigg Hall, this light and spacious apartment has fine views over the grass parklands. It is an ideal base for touring the North Norfolk coastline, pretty villages and traditional market towns, but equally well located to offer miles of walks from the doorstep in rolling countryside. Felbrigg is less than ten minutes drive from the seaside towns of Cromer and Sheringham with a wide variety of shops, pubs and good restaurants. Free entry to Felbrigg Hall and Gardens during normal opening hours

East Anglia, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire

The ancient kingdom of East Anglia has preserved much of its unspoilt character, rural landscape, architecture and traditions with attractions ranging from the University city of Cambridge and the Cathedral city of Ely, to glorious, often deserted, sandy beaches, lots of seaside fun, outdoor pursuits and the unspoilt waterways of The Broads. National Trust places in East Anglia are equally varied, ranging from the magnificent Blickling Hall in Norfolk, the impressive rotunda at Ickworth, near Bury St. Edmunds, the elegant Anglesey Abbey, to the dramatic coastline at Dunwich Heath, with its neighbouring RSPB sanctuary and the Anglo-Saxon royal burial site at Sutton Hoo.

Stayed before and will stay again!

Squire's loft is a lovely, warm and comfortable base from which to explore North Norfolk. The grounds at Felbrigg offer extensive walks and are great for wildlife spotting. We have stayed here before and will stay again.

    Warm and welcoming

The apartment was warm and welcoming and we appreciated the Christmas gifts. The grounds were peaceful and we could walk when the weather allowed. Altogether it provided the perfect setting for a very happy Christmas with the family.

    Pleasure to stay in

The beautiful decoration and details of the furnishings and fittings gave a lovely setting for a family get together. It is lovely to walk in and its like it is your house - no holiday notes everywhere - just in the folder and to be able to get help if needed. One of our toilets blocked and was fixed the same day. We were very grateful. The property was full of visitors but we were secluded behind the stables and heard no noise at all. The garden was full of trees and birds. perhaps you could provide bird feeders as my husband as bought them for the 5 National Trust houses we have stayed in. We were happy to buy seed. I stayed in the Squire's Retreat, not listed on the previous pages and my son and his young family stayed in the Squire's Loft. Both houses were more than comfortable and a pleasure to stay in. Thank you so much for our fantastic holiday. We will be back soon.
