One of two former fishermen’s cottages, Quin Cottage is metres away from the beach. You couldn't get much closer to the sea than this: With an elevated and enclosed garden just a few steps along the lane, the cottage offers a traditional Cornish seaside holiday. The South West Coast Path is on your doorstep, with stunning views in either direction.

Don’t forget to bring your fishing net; the beach is a rockpooler’s paradise.

Nearby Port Isaac, Polzeath, and Rock offer an array of art galleries, shops, pubs and restaurants. Take the ferry boat from Rock to Padstow, cycle The Camel Trail or surf the waves on the famous Polzeath beach.

Our other Port Quin holiday cottages include the neighbouring Lacombe Cottage, Guy's Cottage and Carolina Cellar.

    Beautiful location

The cottage was in a beautiful location and had been very well prepared for our arrival late in the day, with refreshments and fresh flowers etc. The member of staff we met was very friendly and welcoming a few days later, and checked everything was OK. The visitor's book was very helpful in choosing places to visit & eat. We really enjoyed staying at Quin Cottage & will try to repeat the experience, either here or in another NT Cottage in the future. Thank you!

    Immaculate!

Quin cottage was stylish and immaculate. High quality everything. It was also in a beautiful and quiet location with such easy access to beautiful walks. Also liked the very large bed. Some of the cottages have standard doubles which seem a bit small these days. We met Vivienne Procter, the caretaker and she was very nice and helpful. She even found my mobile phone on a piece of grass near the cottage and tracked me down and sent it home.

    Very high standard

The location was really special. Very quiet and peaceful. Very high standard and a lovely greeting with the tea and biscuits and note - simple but personal and welcoming. These things matter. I had a chat with Viv who looks after the property and it was obvious a great deal of her care goes into it The cottage made us feel like it was ours for a week and we were sad to leave. Happy to pay the price as it was part of the National Trust
