It is hard to imagine a position more perfect for a holiday cottage: this delightful stone building with dormer windows in its slate roof is right above the beach, only a few metres from the water's edge. With Quay Cottage occupying one half of the building and Beach Cottage the other, both cottages share a small garden, and the same uninterrupted views over the Helford, with the shingle beach just outside their doors. Next door is the slightly larger property in this cluster The Old School House

If you would like to go on holiday and explore this part of the country you can find out more about our other West Cornwall holiday cottages here.

    Lovely views

Loved the addition of a dishwasher and the new shower/bathroom, which were a big improvement to previous years. Lovely views and peace apart when Durgan regatta on.

    Great location

Location, Location, Location. Great views, quiet village, Huge storms viewed from cosy fireside chairs. Plan to walk coastpath to nearby pub almost thwarted by cliff slide, not your fault.

    Good standard of accommodation

The location and standard of accommodation made our stay enjoyable. Have stayed in a couple of trust properties, they are always of a high standard, clean and well maintained and we are prepared to pay more for this.

    Spitting distance from the sea

Becca the caretaker provided us with a fantastic cottage, totay spotless. the washing machine & tumble dryer were most welcome for the once we used them & provided detergent was most appreciated. the £20 deal for wood all week was fantastic, please keep this as we relished having the fire on after a pond day out walking The phrase 'spitting distance from' reflects this cottages distance from the sea, its a magical location, to wake and hear nothing but the sea crashing on the shore / the wildlife is a fantastic way to start the day (i live in bristol)
