Part of the old farming settlement of Triggabrowne, Pitt is one of several farm buildings converted into comfortable holiday cottages. It is a substantial and traditional stone and slate barn adjoining Fortescue. Both have superb views over miles of unspoilt open countryside and working farmland.

Also in the vicinity are Dairy Cottage, The Farm House and Tippett's. Just a short walk away are the semi-detached Meadow Cottage and Triggabrowne Cottage.

There are lawns around all cottages, perfect both for games and lounging alike. Or if you fancy dining al fresco there is a stone barbeque in the garden in front of the cottage. Watch out for the barn owl!

A short walk from all Triggabrowne cottages takes you to Pencarrow Head with its stunning coastal view which is the jewel of this uncrowded part of Cornwall. The unspoilt beauty of Lantic Bay awaits those who are willing to make the steep descent to the beach.

Pitt is an ideal base from which to explore the coast and countryside, the South West Coast path takes you to the villages of Polperro or Polruan. The charm and bustle of Fowey is a short ferry ride away, with shops, restaurants, pubs you will be spoiled for choice.

    Made enjoyable...

Comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage. Location was excellent for walking parts of the coastal path. Delicious strawberries from the NT farm nearby! We had to make more than one visit to buy more. Good organisation and factual details from the NT reservation service. We applaud the NT. Do you offer an interior design service for members? Your colour palettes and materials always work!

The Cottage was lovely , the caretaker had left a light on for us as we arrived in the dark . The welcome tray with biscuits and fresh flowers and milk in the fridge was a lovely touch. It was very clean and a credit to the caretaker . Thank you . Everything was special , the location , the cleanliness of the cottage , the fire laid up for us . Thank you National Trust .
