This striking and handsome slate-hung farmhouse has been converted into two sizeable cottages, Old House and West House both with far-reaching views over the fields towards the sea, with Dodman Point in the distance. Each cottage has its own enclosed garden and picnic table to enjoy the peace and tranquility.

Lansallos Barton is on the edge of Lansallos halfway between the coastal villages of Polruan and Polperro. This small hamlet is a cluster of cottages around a charming church. Stunning coastal scenery, Lansallos Cove and the other little beaches on Lantivet Bay are all a short walk away. If it’s the hustle and bustle that you are after then head to Polperro, Looe or Fowey.

    Made enjoyable...

I just don't think that there could have been anything better about the place. There was no wi-fi and that's always an initial frustration but you know what..... great! I couldn't spend the weekend with phone and laptop in hand.

    Sensitively furnished

This is a remote cottage with good sea views and relatively easy access to cliff paths and the beach. It's also sensitively furnished and nicely appointed. This ticked all my boxes in terms of being able to really get the most out of a very beautiful coastal location, spend quality time with my dog and children, and be very relaxed in the evenings.

    Lovely setting

The cottage was in a lovely setting, very quiet and relaxing and able to sit in the garden watching the sun set over the nearby church with no noise except the birds and the nearby farm animals. Absolute peace which was what we needed to recharge our batteries! The cottage was warm and comfortable to return to after walking the south west coast path in the area. Also an important factor was the enclosed garden so we knew the dog was safe, although he was never outside alone, we didn't have to watch his every move!
