    High standard cottage

The complex of cottages had been very well thought out. We stayed away from the main farm but were able to park in the farm yard and walk across the adjoining field to the cottage garden. Despite being adjacent to the road the garden was entirely enclosed and was very private and quiet; a lovely place to read and relax. The cottage was simple but maintained to a very high standard. The mid stay clean was very welcome and we were delighted that our 'welcome' tray was replenished; this didn't cost the NT much but created a very good impression.

    Well restored

Quality, well restored cottages in a superb location with great natural beauty and tranquility made this enjoyable. I would also particularly commend the 2 housekeepers...Katie and Angie..they worked long and hard to ensure the cottages were immaculate..thanks to them.

    Beautifully kept property

Able to leave the car all stay and walk, catch bus, use local ferries. The caretaker is excellent as the property was beautifully kept. Also the fizzy wine & biscuits on arrival a lovely touch.
