This picturesque, Grade 2 listed, detached cottage that is traditional from the outside but has a modern feel on the inside has a superb riverside location. The two double bedrooms have uninterrupted views across the River Dart towards the village of Dittisham and downstairs provide space to relax and enjoy this wonderful setting. Other cottages on the estate include The Lodge, a cosy retreat for two, South Lodge, a larger 3 bedroom property, and finally The Apartment, an impressive apartment that sleeps 8 guests and is spread over two floors in Agatha Christie's former holiday home.

There is a substantial, enclosed large patio area at the side of the cottage perfect for riverside living. With the foot ferry linking Dartmouth, Dittisham and Totnes on your doorstep, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the surrounding area. The Ferry Boat Inn just across the water is located in the pretty village of Dittisham, just ring the bell for the ferry, available every day except Christmas Day.

There is even a steam railway stop just a short walk away from the cottage, so why not let the train take the strain, this railway links to the main line. You can travel in a number of ways around the Greenway estate and further afield and there are many walks available with the close proximity to the South West coast path and Dart Valley Trail.

    Perfect location

As soon as we walked through the door the wow factor hit us. Everyone was instantly happy and excited after the long drive. Three days into the holiday we booked for the following year. The location was perfect, the standard of accommodation was show-home condition.

    Wonderful cottage

Wonderful cottage in an idilic setting. Definitely worth a repeat visit or two. This cottage is new - we were only the 8th visitors, but already there is wear and tear, though this did not detract from our enjoyment.
