It is hard to imagine a position more perfect for a holiday cottage: this delightful stone building with dormer windows in its slate roof is right above the beach, only a few metres from the water's edge. With Quay Cottage occupying one half of the building and Beach Cottage the other, both cottages share a small garden, and the same uninterrupted views over the Helford, with the shingle beach just outside their doors. Next door is the slightly larger property in this cluster,The Old School House

    Made enjoyable...

It's great knowing that it will be good before you even get there: the property will be special, clean and decently equipped - high standards set and met every time. You can start relaxing as soon as you arrive, the only surprises guaranteed to be good.

    Made enjoyable...

Although it rained a lot the views over the estuary and watching the storms, more than entertained us.

    Made enjoyable by...

The location was spectacular and, crucially for us, the whole set-up was highly suitable for a two-year-old to enjoy safely and for long periods of time. That meant we could relax for the week and take it all in rather than having to constantly invent things to do or worry about what he was up to. We all had a wonderful time...and we'll definitely be going back. It is a lot of money for a family holiday. That isn't a complaint, merely an observation.

    Lovely location

The Caretaker is doing a great job at Beach Cottage. Beach Cottage is in a lovely location on the Helford River with access to the water and coastal walking. A stunning location for anyone who enjoys the outdoors.
