The largest of the three barns and perhaps the most dramatic conversion, this spacious accommodation provides a central living area with two ground-floor bedrooms on one side and an extensive galleried bedroom, sitting area and new shower room above.

There is a rear door from the sitting room leading directly into an enclosed garden overlooking farmland, which is secluded from the other two barns and can also be accessed from the car parking area. This is an ideal walking location, the footpath close by passes a traditional country pub and leads onto miles of sandy beaches. The famous Norfolk Broads are accessible just minutes away at Horsey Mere and day boats are available from several staithes in the surrounding villages.

East Anglia

The ancient kingdom of East Anglia has preserved much of its unspoilt character, rural landscape, architecture and traditions with attractions ranging from the University city of Cambridge and the Cathedral city of Ely, to glorious, often deserted, sandy beaches, lots of seaside fun, outdoor pursuits and the unspoilt waterways of The Broads. National Trust places in East Anglia are equally varied, ranging from the magnificent Blickling Hall in Norfolk, the impressive rotunda at Ickworth, near Bury St. Edmunds, the elegant Anglesey Abbey, to the dramatic coastline at Dunwich Heath, with its neighbouring RSPB sanctuary and the Anglo-Saxon royal burial site at Sutton Hoo.

The Norfolk Broads are what family holidays are really made of! Exploring by land or water or a combination of both, there?s a multitude of ways to discover and enjoy this area, including sailing, motor boating, canoeing, fishing, birdwatching, walking and cycling. There is much to inspire and delight those who visit the Broads. Not only are the famous waterways something to marvel at but the surrounding landscape is full of wonderful surprises. The beautiful countryside is home to many charming towns and small villages with traditionally thatched cottages, quaint village greens and stunning churches with histories that are as fascinating as the architecture. This area is rich in wildlife and there is no better place to find it than at Horsey.
