    Made enjoyable...

The location - Barrington Court is a truly beautiful property and we had a wonderful time wandering through the house and lingering in the gardens. It was lovely to have access to the orchard out of hours and to be right next door to the house. The staff on reception and in the shop were particularly friendly and welcoming. We had chosen the cottage because we were on a Wolf Hall locations hunt and that part of Somerset is especially rich in NT properties and others used for the BBC series. It was a memorable and richly enjoyable week of pottering round houses and gardens while our toddler practised his walking.

    Made enjoyable.....

For North Americans, the opportunity to stay in or near historic properties makes a holiday very special. We don't even see properties of this age in Canada, let alone have an opportunity to stay in them! The high standards of cleanliness and décor in the Trust's properties makes them a pleasure to live in. The high quality of the beds and mattresses is very welcome, particularly to those of us who are older and suffer with back problems!

    Warm - even in Winter!

This upmarket apartment has good views over the Barrington Court estate, and is a joy to stay in, and is always warm, even in the winter.
