1 Home Farm Drive has the look and feel of the 1930s with period features and all the comforts of modern life. The end of a terrace of three, this spacious cottage was once an eighteenth-century stable converted by the 2nd Viscount Bearsted in the 1930s, into the holiday home for the family's Rabbi. The sitting room is steeped in features, from the open fire with art-deco surround and hearth to the sofas, mirrors and light fittings. The rest of the cottage has more of a modern feel but retains the 1930’s theme though the art-deco furnishings. The cottage is two minutes walk from the main house, and has its own garden. The cottage is the perfect location to explore Warwickshire and the Cotswolds.

    Very well equipped cottage

Very well equipped cottage. Upton House was great - the talks given at the house was super and the WW2 display absolutely superb. REally interesting and excellent volunteers helping at the house.

Good level of comfort in cottage

The beautiful location, the feeling of connectedness with the NT property , helpfulness and friendliness of staff and volunteers all made our stay enjoyable. Also the level of comfort and the attractiveness of the cottage we were staying in.

    Very well equipped

The cottage was beautifully clean, very well equipped, and warm and cosy. We loved the art deco style. Everything had been so well thought out, and it was like stepping back in time. We were thrilled to find the cottage was even better than the pictures on the website showed. It is a real treat for fans of the 1920s and 1930s.

    Brilliant stay

We returned on Monday from a weekend stay at 1 Home Farm Drive, Upton House, and I wanted to say thank you for a brilliant stay. The cottage was even better than it looked on the website, and we were really impressed with the quality of the fixtures and fittings and how well equipped the kitchen was. The cottage was beautifully clean, and the flowers and tea tray were very welcoming, thank you. We loved the art deco feel, and all the furniture, fireplaces, bathroom etc. We got into the spirit and watched Poirot and listened to Charleston music, and it was thrilling to be in that setting. We loved the cottage and can’t wait to stay there again. Thanks again,
