The first thing you’ll notice about 1 Heathland Cottages is its unusual design. The cladded building was once home to nurses working at a former isolation hospital nearby. Inside the three-bedroom cottage, you’ll find carefully restored rooms where its vernacular cladding remains. 

You’ll be treated to beautiful views over the Purbeck Hills from the double bedroom, views so enticing you’ll soon be outside in the fresh air enjoying them on foot.

Further afield, Studland and Godlingston Heath is one of the largest uninterrupted areas of rare lowland heath in the UK. Here, it’s possible to find all six types of British reptiles. From here walk down to Studland beach and catch a glimpse of the chalk stacks that rise from the sea, Old Harry Rocks.

Parking: The parking area is on the drive in front of the cottage. There is sufficient room for two cars, with additional space available below the cottage.

Garden: There is a large rambling lawn area all round the cottage shared with its neighbour, 2 Heathland Cottages.

Utilities/Electricals: The washing machine and tumble dryer is a combined washer/dryer.

Offers: Guests will benefit from a late Sunday checkout of 4pm at this cottage.
