We have a wealth of pet friendly cottages so you can enjoy a holiday in the company of your most cherished pets. The Trust love to see our holiday cottages used by humans and animals alike and our pet friendly cottages welcome you and your dogs to enjoy a National Trust holiday.

The Trust have well over a hundred dog friendly cottages just waiting to be adored by your furry companions. We have plenty of holiday cottages to cater for you and your pets and the more the merrier, as our holiday cottages have heaps of room!

A pet friendly cottage from the National Trust allows you to bring the essential home comforts along with your favourite creatures and bring them to a new environment to become completely immersed in together. We have an abundance of holiday cottages dotted across the U.K, with locations in National Parks, along the coast and hidden away in forests and fields. Our dog friendly holiday cottages boast some unmatched scenery, rich and thriving countryside and plenty of walks for you and your dogs.

Cornwall is perfect for bringing your pooch along and is home to more than 30 dog friendly cottages. The southwest is covered in Celtic history and offers a wealth of mixed locations, including high clifftop views, vast open green spaces and delightful seaside towns. We pride ourselves on the locations of our holiday cottages and we know you and your pets would love to explore Cornwall.

Wood Cottage is planted on the cusp of a fine woodland and is like a magical little cottage from a fairytale. Once upon a time it was an apple shop and it makes a great retreat for a romantic getaway. Nanceglos House sleeps 9, has five bedrooms, is dog friendly and an escape to this grand cornish abode is ideal for a big family getaway with the dogs. Let’s just hope your car is large enough! The Lizard Peninsula presents one of the best walks in the southwest, with dramatic cliffside scenery and a rich Cornish culture.

The castle-esque Millbeck Towers caters for man’s best friend and the Lake District has some of the best walks in the country. Looking for a tranquil escape? Wasdale Hall Lodge is a delightful, remote cottage and as the lake does not allow motor-craft, the peaceful environment is perfect for pets to relax in. The fells and rugged terrain of the Lake District are home to some of the countries finest walking routes with adventure to be had treking through the valleys. Your dog would love it!

If you are seeking vast open spaces, Wales has plenty of dog friendly cottages. Holiday cottages in Wales are perfect for a retreat away with your cherished creatures. The Welsh landscape is great for walks and the lush mountainous terrain and green hilly stretched will be adored by your dog.

Little Milford Farmhouse is surrounded by picturesque scenery and vast garden space your doggy’s can roam the ground safely and freely.
