This year we have had over 15 new additions to our holiday cottage collection. Varying from large luxury manor houses, beach side cottages, cosy farmhouses and woodland log cabins, each offering a truly special getaway what ever the occasion.
In the late district we have Trees, a 1930s log and stone cottage set in a wonderful secluded setting. This cottage offers stunning views, including Lake Windermere, which can be taken in from the large sun deck terrace.
Go back to basics and stay in Rosedene in Herefordshire, one the few remaining Chartist cottages in the UK. Set in an idyllic location this grade II listed building, steeped in history and surrounded by countryside, is complete with its own vegetable plot and orchard.
Moryn is set in Porthdinllaen, a beautiful fishing village on the Lyn Peninsula. Sat right on the edge of the beach this cottage offers stunning coastal views from its private roof terrace. Sleeping 2 this is perfect for a romantic get way all year round.
For those looking for more of an adventurous holiday we have the Herb cottages based at Stackpole, our outdoor learning centre. There are many walks to be had around the lakes, where if your lucky you can see the resident otters and the beautiful Barafundle and Broadhaven South beaches where you can also do activities such as kayaking, coasteering and surfing.
What’s more by booking your holiday cottage with the National Trust you are supporting our work as an independent charity looking after special places for ever, for everyone.
