Stay with us in some of the country’s most beautiful locations. A holiday cottage from the National Trust is unlike any other cottage you will find. All of our cottages are situated on or near land owned or managed by the Trust. That means you could be staying near a castle, overlooking the sea or in beautiful nature reserves. Our cottages can sleep 2 to 18 people, ideal for both a romantic holiday or a family reunion. Dogs are also welcome in many cottages, use our search facilities to find the right one for you.
If you want to be by the sea, you could choose a Lighthouse Keeper’s Cottage in Sunderland, a listed Wireless Station in Cornwall, or sit on the roof terrace of Moryn and gaze out to sea at Porthdinllaen on the Llyn Peninsula, North Wales. Get away from it all in our remote locations, like Warcleave Cottage on Dartmoor, tucked away on the edge of woodland with the River Teign at the bottom of the garden.
Want to be King or Queen for a week? A castle cottage may just the thing for you. How about a cottage in the grounds of Powis Castle or gaze upon Sizergh Castle (from a distance) in the Holeslack Farmhouse, Cumbria.
Love the Gardens? Stay at the Priest’s House in the gardens of Sissinghurst Castle, believed to be part of the former Elizabethan mansion which made up Sissinghurst Castle, or how about the Choristers' House at Fountain’s Abbey, standing proud within an ancient 400 acre deer park.
