The Helford River is an unspoilt estuary with beautiful creeks stretching from the outer edge of Falmouth Bay up to the old port of Gweek. There’s lots to see and do in the area with the foot ferry transporting you to different places that are waiting to be explored .
On the North bank you’ll find the beautiful valley garden of Glendurgan which leads down on to Durgan Beach. On the beach you can explore the rock pools or set off on the water by canoe or kayak and if you like the idea of waking up to the sound of the sea we have three holiday cottages, Quay and Beach Cottages and The Old School House, right on the edge of the beach.
Why not throw your fishing line over the garden wall when the tide is high and catch your supper?
