February half-term adventures

February half-term is fast approaching and it’s the perfect opportunity for the whole family to discover new places and create special memories.

It’s also a great chance to try out a few of our ‘50 things to do before you're 11 ¾’ challenges, from fossil-hunting and rock-climbing to stargazing and building dens.

Many of our holiday cottages are on estates hosting lots of events for kids to get messy, muddy and back in touch with nature.

Pack your wellies and head over to Somerset where you could spend the week hunting for the best hide-and-seek spots in the gardens of Barrington Court. Or stay in the grounds of Blickling Estate where your little ones can burn off some energy exploring the secret tunnels and hidden trails around the estate.

For some watery fun, why not take a trip to the Lake District? Teach the kids how to skip rocks as you splash around on the shore of Lake Windermere. Then return to your cosy cottage to warm up in front of the open fire with a steaming mug of hot chocolate and marshmallows.

Whatever you fancy doing on your holiday, our cottages are in great locations for keeping the whole family happy and entertained this half-term. You can now save 15% on selected cottages and dates.
