Coastal holiday cottages bring you one step closer to that glorious beach holiday. Trips to the beach are often a holiday highlight, and come rain or shine, heading to the seaside is always atop of the to-do list.

Beach holiday cottages are ideal for a Great British getaway with over 775 miles of UK coastline in Trust care and we also look after over 240 coastal holiday cottages. From cosy cabins on dramatic clifftops to unique cottages overlooking golden beaches, there’s a coastal retreat out there for everyone.

Your next holiday by the sea could see you exploring the South West coast, from the rugged coastline and coves in Cornwall, the beautiful sandy beaches in Somerset, to the historic Jurassic Coast with our Devon and Dorset coastal cottages.

It’s never too late to book a last minute beach holiday and our coastal cottages get snapped up for busy periods. Why not view our special offers for some help on deciding where to stay next.

Cornwall is surrounded by an abundance of amazing beaches and we have over 100 cornish holiday cottages in our care. The Cornish coast is home to some of Britain’s finest beaches, with heavenly stretches of golden sands, vibrant lagoons and secretive hidden bays make our sea view cottages in Cornwall truly unique.

Kynance Cove is one of England’s best beaches and the Lizard is home to an array of coastal cottages on the Peninsula. The West Coast town of Boscastle there is a rare example of a beautifully unspoiled 17th-century home, Elm Cottage, which has been remarkably refurbished to maintain the essential character of the building and features.

We have a delightful collection of Devon coastal cottages in the idyllic seaside towns of Exeter and the English Riviera. Famous for its bellowing cliffs and jaw-dropping panoramic views, the sandy shores of Devon are a perfect spot for a beach holiday. Take advantage of the warm Gulf Stream in South Devon and discover its subtropical climate and fragrant coastal gardens where the scent of lemon trees and tiger lilies fill the air.

Wonderfully positioned on the cusp of Wembury Beach, is the popular Mill Cottage . It would be difficult to find a cottage closer to the sea and you can even hear the calming sound of the waves on the shore as you go to bed at night. For a superb riverside location, the picturesque, Grade 2 listed Ferry Cottage looks traditional from the outside but has a modern feel inside.

We have a charming collection of over 55 Wales coastal cottages, with a special selection of holiday cottages in Pembrokeshire, Cardigan Bay, and Gower Peninsula. The ever so colourful beach huts at Llanbedrog beach and seal-spotting at Porthor Beach are just a few of the extraordinary highlights of the very special Llyn Peninsula.

We have plenty of coastal holiday cottages for 2 that are perfect for a romantic getaway. Penarvon Cabin is perched amongst trees on a low bluff above Penarvon Cove, Helford. The waters of the Helford lap at the shore below and you can hear the birds tweet away as they feed on the tide. Tucked away in the Welsh vistas and overlooking the open waves is the National Trust restored listed building of Tan y Bwlch, sleeps two, is the epitome of a romantic trip for two.
