The much anticipated third series of 'Perspectives' returned to ITV1 last Sunday where actor David Suchet, who famously played Poirot, looked into the mysterious life of the crime writer, Agatha Christie. During the program we saw David explore the Greenway Estate which was the former writer’s holiday home and is now cared for by the National Trust.
The Greenway Estate homes a beautiful woodland garden and Georgian house set high on the banks of the River Dart. Our holiday cottage, The Apartment, occupies the second and third floors of Greenway House and is the ultimate luxury getaway. Styled to reflect the happy holiday heyday of Greenway in the 1950’s, The Apartment also features an open air swimming pool. Sleeping 10 it is an ideal special location for a big group of friends or family.
Nestled at the entrance of Greenway is The Lodge, a pretty cottage within easy access to the romantic garden. The Lodge makes for a peaceful and secluded hideaway for two. If you are looking for something a little bigger we have the former Head Gardeners home, South Lodge. The cottage sleeps six and is tucked within the woodland garden boasting spectacular views of the River Dart.
All Holiday Cottage guests have access to the garden at all times, which makes it perfect for exploring when everyone else has gone home!
